パネル3：持続可能な都市の推進と発展
循環原理（特に再利用、再製造、リサイクル）を、構築された環境などの重要なセクターに適用することにより、温室効果ガス排出量を削減する広大な範囲があります。しかし、ほとんどの連邦、州、地方政府は、地球温暖化をできるだけ1.5°Cに近づけるというパリ協定の目標を達成するための政策において循環経済対策をほとんど考慮していないことに留意しています。ヨーロッパの都市から学んだ教訓は、マレーシアの都市で学んだ教訓を共有して、気温が1.5°C以上上昇するのを防ぐという共通の目標を達成するために、すべての国を整列させることができます。

都市におけるカーボンニュートラリティの実現

エネルギー消費の3分の2を占め、70を生産する都市% 温室効果ガスの排出量は、世界の脱炭素化に重要な役割を果たします。 2020年以降、733都市が参加しました。レース・トゥ・ゼロ, 2050年までに二酸化炭素排出量ゼロを約束する世界的なキャンペーンであり、各国政府がゼロカーボン目標を設定する前であっても、2050年までにカーボンニュートラルの目標を設定している都市が増えています。

地域および国家レベルでは、欧州連合のような先駆的な都市を奨励し、支援するためのイニシアチブが開始/計画されていますか？2030年までに100の気候中立都市? 2021年6月に策定された「日本の地方脱炭素化ロードマップ」では、「100の主要脱炭素地域」が策定されました。一方、都市はゼロカーボン目標を達成するために、さまざまな面で迅速かつ広範囲に渡る移行を行わなければならず、多くの都市にとってこの課題は容易ではありません。

国際都市地域協力(IURC)の一環として開催されたこのウェビナーは、都市が自分自身をゼロカーボンに変えようとする方法を共有し、都市と地域協力が都市が野心的な目標を達成するのを助ける方法について話し合うことを目的としています。
