    IURC NA, en colaboración con la Corporación de Desarrollo de Baltimore (BDC) acogerá del 10 al 12 de mayo de 2023, el Regeneración urbana y desarrollo económico para la inclusión social evento en Baltimore, EE.UU.. Aproximadamente 21 representantes de Alemania, Italia, Portugal, España, Canadá, Estados Unidos y México se reunirán para discutir los desafíos y soluciones de desarrollo económico que enfrentan en sus ciudades.

    Durante la última década, el concepto de urbanismo táctico (también conocido como?Prototipado urbano?) ha ganado un fuerte ritmo en muchas ciudades de todo el mundo. Las plazas peatonales, los carriles para bicicletas emergentes, los parques emergentes y los parques infantiles innovadores son solo algunos de los ejemplos desarrollados por las autoridades de la ciudad y la sociedad civil para mejorar la habitabilidad de sus ciudades. Las acciones se ponen a prueba a corto plazo para probar la funcionalidad y lograr la aceptación de las personas de las soluciones a largo plazo.

     

    El equipo de IURC Asia y Australasia está organizando este seminario web temático, cuyo objetivo es profundizar la cooperación urbana y regional en los ámbitos del desarrollo urbano sostenible y la innovación entre ciudades de la UE y de fuera de la UE. La actividad es un seguimiento del webinar Urbanismo táctico en los espacios públicos que tuvo lugar en febrero de 2023. Esta vez, el seminario web se centrará en la transformación urbana a través del arte callejero, la caminabilidad y las soluciones de ciclismo en Dublín, Málaga y Seúl.

     

    A través de una profunda discusión interactiva a nivel internacional, este seminario web temático tiene como objetivo mostrar los desafíos enfrentados y las soluciones implementadas en las ciudades piloto de IURC. El intercambio puede inspirar a otras ciudades piloto a capitalizar estas experiencias y transferir conocimientos a sus propias circunstancias. La actividad fortalecerá el enfoque regional/global del programa IURC. Se encargará de:

     

    1. Fomentar la cooperación entre ciudades de la UE y de terceros países interesadas en compartir experiencias sobre el desarrollo del urbanismo táctico
    2. Identificar posibles áreas piloto y partes interesadas para explorar acciones entre países a nivel de ciudad

     

    El programa será presentado por el equipo de IURC y mostrará ejemplos de las ciudades piloto de IUR de Dublín, Málaga y Seúl.
