WRI Prize for Cities

Categorized as News from IURC

This cycle of the WRI Ross Center Prize for Cities, “Accelerating Momentum for Climate-Ready Communities,” invites submissions from initiatives building resilience, reducing risks and leveraging new opportunities, especially for our most vulnerable communities.

Submissions close on September 26, and we do not want you to miss the opportunity to apply and have your work elevated!

US$350,000 in unrestricted funds are awarded to initiatives demonstrating transformative change. Finalists receive media coverage and gain exposure to a world-class jury while joining a global network of urban changemakers.

Grand prize winners and finalists bring big ideas to critical urban problems, demonstrate a life-changing impact on people and communities, and have ripple effects on institutions, the wider city and beyond.

All types of organizations, from the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, are eligible. Submissions may be from initiatives or projects located anywhere in the world. Please consult the Terms and Conditions for more information.

Please share this opportunity with your networks by reposting this announcement, and contact WRI with any questions! You can also recommend a project if there is something you think we should be watching!

Applications are open until September 26.
