Gangtok

Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim and at the centre of Sikkim’s tourism industry. Gangtok was selected in the Smart Cities Mission Challenge and was also named the ‘Cleanest City Destination’ by the Union Ministry of Tourism in 2016.

Gangtok will mainly cooperate with the city of Albacete in Spain on the topic of solid waste management awareness.
