Tokorozawa

Tokorozawa is located in the neighbouring area of Tokyo and is directly connected to the Japanese capital by rail. It belongs to Saitama Prefecture (not to Tokyo). The city has rich farmland, tea plantations, and the Totoro Forest. Focusing on renewable energy, energy conservation and greenery, Tokorozawa aims to become a zero-carbon city by 2050.

Tokorozawa will continue cooperation with Bratislava to learn from each other about good practices for a decarbonised society, renewable energy, energy saving, and local power projects, and collaboration with stakeholders.
