“ReThink Urban Spaces IDEATHON” หรือ ริทัศน์ ไอเดียธอน เป็นกิจกรรมในโครงการ RETHINK URBAN SPACES-RTUS (ริทัศน์) Thai-European Youth Forum on Urban Community Development ซึ่งได้รับการสนับสนุนจากสหภาพยุโรปในประเทศไทย โดยความร่วมมือของ สถาบันเกอเธ่ ประเทศไทย มูลนิธิการศึกษาเพื่อสร้างพลเมืองไทยและมูลนิธิส่งเสริมสื่อเด็กและเยาวชน (สสย.)

โครงการริทัศน์มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนกิจกรรมที่ริเริ่มและดำเนินการโดยเยาวชนให้เกิดการมองพื้นที่เมืองในประเทศไทยด้วยมุมมองใหม่ เพื่อสร้างเมืองสำหรับทุกคน (inclusive cities) ที่ซึ่งผู้มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องทุกฝ่ายสามารถเข้ามามีส่วนร่วมในประเด็นที่กระทบต่อชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ของตนเองในปัจจุบันและอนาคต

กิจกรรมไอเดียธอนเป็นก้าวแรกในการสร้างพื้นที่ให้เยาวชนใน 5 เมือง ได้แก่ ขอนแก่น กาญจนบุรี หาดใหญ่ เชียงใหม่และกรุงเทพฯ ได้เข้ามาแบ่งปันมุมมองและความคิดริเริ่มใหม่ๆ ที่มีต่อเมืองของตน โดยใช้เวลา 3 วัน แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดและร่วมกันต่อภาพไอเดียซึ่งกันและกันเพื่อพัฒนาต่อไปกับกลุ่มทำงานเรื่องเมืองในพื้นที่ของตนเอง

“RTUS IDEATHON” is an activity supervised by ReThink Urban Spaces-RTUS, a Thai-European Youth Forum on Urban Community Development, a programme funded by the European Union. With the cooperation of the Goethe-Institut Thailand, Thai Civic Education Foundation and Child and Youth Media Foundation.

RTUS’s goal is to support the development of activities and mechanisms to enhance youth participation in the urban development process for inclusive cities. Moreover, applicants will have the opportunity to join an exchange platform with their pairs in the European Capital cities.

IDEATHON will be RTUS’s first step to engage 20 youth aged 18-25 years old in 5 cities such as Khon Kaen, Kanchanaburi, Hat Yai, Chiang Mai and Bangkok in a three-day event. IDEATHON is a platform where young people can share and initiate their ideas toward urban changes in their cities.

Event Dates:
• Khon Kaen during 14th and 16th July 2021
• Kanchanaburi during 30th July and 1st August 2021
• Hat Yai during 20th until 22nd August 2021
• Chiang Mai during 3rd until 5th September 2021
• Bangkok during 17th until 19th September 2021
