It will take place on Tuesday, 5th April 2022, 9:00-10:00 a.m. CEST / 4:00-5:00 p.m. Seoul / 8:00-9:00 p.m. Wellington.

The Milan Urban Food Policy Pact Secretariat in partnership with the IURC programme of the European Union is organising an online training on urban food policy through a series of webinars for MUFPP and IURC cities in Asia Pacific. Participating cities will have the opportunity to showcase their best practices and learn from their peers in the region in the way they use food as an entry point for sustainable urban development.

Following the first category of the Milan Pact, the webinar will present how to consolidate the political and technical commitment to the food system through a variety of actions: the adoption of a dedicated food strategy, the establishment of a food policy office and food council, the assessment of your impact and the involvement of public and private stakeholders.

After a brief introduction to the topic and some best practices from Europe, we will listen to the experience of MilanSeoul and Wellington.
